A report from the American Antiquarian Society's (AAS) librarian is presented. The author notes the acquisition of books, pamphlets, maps and newspapers by the AAS Library, including a bequest from the estate of former AAS member Nathaniel Paine and donations from AAS members such as Charles H. Taylor. American imprints, tracts and pamphlets from the 18th century collected by the AAS Library, such as the pamphlets "History of the Life and Death, Virtues and Exploits of General George Washington," by M.L. Weems, and the tract "Principles of the Holy Christian Pilgrim Explained," by Richard Sherlock, are discussed. The acquisition of 17th century bookplates is also noted.
