Report of the Council.

A report issued by the Council of the American Antiquarian Society (AAS) is presented. The report discusses acquisitions of the AAS Library and notes the society's contributions to bibliographical projects such as a dictionary created by book dealer Joseph Sabin and a list of newspapers published in the U.S. A bibliography of the writings of clergyman Increase Mather by AAS member William G. Mather is also discussed. The deaths of AAS members Clarence W. Bowen , Reuben Colton, William Harden and Clarence Bloomfield Moore are also noted.
