Proceedings of the Annual Meeting.

Information about the October 15, 1947 semi-annual meeting of the American Antiquarian Society is presented. The paper presented was "The Cult of the Gaucho and the Creation of Literature," by Edward Laroque Tinker, while Bernard A. Devoto presented an informal discussion on "The Welsh Indians." The meeting also discussed elections for officers of the Society, new members, and membership in the society. Highlights of a discussion about the book "History and Bibliography of American Newspapers," by Clarence S. Brigham, were presented.
