Report of the Council.

The article presents several reports concerning the management and activities of the American Antiquarian Society as of October 1948. Details are given highlighting several ongoing publishing and archiving projects being undertaken by the association and its library in Worcester, Massachusetts, including the collection of early American fiction and almanacs. Introductory comments are given relating to the annual reports by society officers also included within the issue. Final comments are also given discussing the general financial condition of the society.
