Report of the Council.

A report issued by the American Antiquarian Society (AAS) Council is presented. The transfer of books and newspapers from the AAS Library into a different stack and the acquisition of books, newspapers, bookplates and almanacs by the Library is discussed. The effect of the stack's construction and increased income from stocks on the society's finances is commented on. The deaths of AAS members such as Harry Andrew Wright, Ogden Codman, Randolph Greenfield Adams and Charles Eliot Goodspeed are noted.
